. Is it valid a buzz word? Perhaps. But it’s only once you spend a week with the car, as I was advantageous enough to do, that you realise that the V60 possibly does contain that special transformation agent which allows it to morph from a sedate family man, into a B-way blighter. Let me explain. 
Volvo is no stranger to a corker of an estate. The 140, 200 and 240 were affectionately received and in fact the latter 240 was Volvo’s best-selling car from 1975 until 1982. Then they introduced the 850 saloon followed densely by the station wagon. It was the first Volvo model in the States to feature front-spin drive and an all-aluminium alloy 20-valve fair and square-five engine and again it topped the sales charts. It helped to traits Volvo’s mark onto the global map and even today, is remembered as one of the devoted rugged estates ever built. In our presence today are what remains from the done, evolved into more polished, more modern machines. The V50, V60 and V70 all preserve Volvo’s speciality in making estates, sports wagons, whatever you hankering to call them and what’s more is that the R-Design variants manage to pack even more of a visual oomph than the standard models. We were able to get a test drive in the V60 R-Outline at the beginning of the year and it proved to be a bundle of joy despite a raspy diesel.

How do you remove the front Head Restraints of a Volvo V50?

I penury to temporarily remove the Head Restraints to fit car seat covers. There must be a classic way to do this! The method is likely to be similar to other Volvos.
The question was not 'Is it bona fide to put seat covers on the front seats of my Volvo?'. Some of you seem confused - I am looking for an correlate with talk back to a be accountable, not advice! I am not daft, the replacement covers have special airbag seams.
Poopbunny is blotch on and will earn a best answer if I find out why the -ve battery lead should be separate!
IF your Volvo seats seat their own air-bags inside (like my car does)... I in reality would think carefully about putting on seat-covers.

Can I put aftermarket Xenon bulbs in my 05 Volvo V50?

I heard that they get a lot more hot than paragon bulbs and could damage the lamp housing assembly?
Volvo sells the Xenon upgrade but does it count a new housing assembly.
I may put in the High K temp white lights rather than for the HID look.
Any advice?
Retard away from the cheap aftermarket kits on EBAY, I bought a set fro my BMW 530 and they lasted about six months!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would reinforcement away from the fake HID bulbs, they get very hot and can damage the wiring harness narrow the bulb and the lens assembly, plus they are not cheap and extraordinarily dont last that long. The correct way to do it is buy the Kit from Volvo and it should include glass lenses, if it doesent and they say you dont emergency new housings than just buy the kit, it will be pricey though......

If it is a petrol then it is because you put the awful fuel in it!
Otherwise if it is a Diesel then we could do with more info. Did it happen immediately after the tank was infested leaving you stranded on the forecourt? Does it turn over at all? and anything else you might stroke useful?
