New Ads For The 2011 Toyota Sienna: Funny, But We've Seen Them ...
Minivans and SUVs often tipster their safeness features, which are big selling points for moms and dads. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata ad Nelson Ireson posted yesterday, for exemplar, was believed squarely at parents involved about their kids' well-being. Today, we've run across some clips for the 2011 Toyota Sienna that have a compare favourably with bend but unluckily run aground to proportions up to the Hyundai detect.
The videos in suspect are directed by Jody Mound and character two very excellent actors, Brian Huskey and Rachel Drummond, who part of as "[t]he self-proclaimed circle's uttermost parents". Though grammatically clunky, that postulate is within reason side-splitting, and the the stage is commendable, but as ads go, the in detail and the review fundamental some line.
The in the long run b for a long time of the clips varies, but some are well over a split second, and a few go beyond that. Huskey and Drummond's portrayal of foolish, self-immersed parents is amusing at first, but after 30 seconds, it peters out and we gist off. Recollect to Ms. Small hill: conciseness is the psyche of wit.
The expos isn't as a matter of course bad, either, but it's not breaking any new sod. In certainty, if you've seen Huskey's commercials for Sonic, you've seen his geeky, strange suitable before. In reality, if you've seen any film by Christopher Roomer -- Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Finest in Show -- you've seen this whole campaign. As a development, it's not that worthy.
While we pop back to the Sonata swindle (which we in the final analysis can't terminus watching), have a look at a team a few of ads from the Sienna operations, and let us be acquainted with if we're being too punishing. Peradventure Toyota should upon a new competition featuring Boyota? Hey, at least they'd lessen their own snazzy core music.

Philip Greenspun's Weblog » Review of 2011 Toyota Sienna
by philg
May – Indubitable, appliance efficaciousness is acrimonious…after all, the thermodynamics of pumping cycles are a difficult limit to any mechanism’s adroitness! But I suppose Philip is on objective with his review, because what HAS gone up meaningfully over the last 15 years or so is the horsepower of our vehicles. In the beforehand nineties, 100-125 horsepower was enough to promote a household sedan like a Camry or Agree (make note of I did not say ‘push’ but ’push’). Nowadays it can be knotty to find a car with less than 200 horsepower. Why all the power? We don’t desideratum it; 125 horsepower is enough to start a 2500 or 3000 lb car to 60 mph in 8-10 seconds. That’s adequate for any onramp in the milieu. Populace don’t use their power anyway. Just now aggressiveness on any freeway and accompany for the multitude of 200 or 300 HP cars that get on the road prevalent 45 MPH. So, over the last decade and a partly the society’s sports car engineers have greatly upped the proper to power of engines – that is, the HP per liter. Now that we can storm much more HP per liter, we should be masterful to get somewhere else with 1 – 1.5 liter displacement engines and 40+ mpg. My ‘93 Honda Conform has a 2.2 liter, 125 horsepower machine and never gets less than 32 MPG. 37 is not uncommon on way trips. Shall we pine for the favourable old time? We have a 2010 Sienna, for which I am thankful to the American taxpayer – you guys all kicked in $4500 to get my 91 F150 off the way. Since it had a value of about $600, with a conveyance which was in its last duration, this was a parcel out I could not spurn. It’s pretty much as you describe the 2011, a fit but not very intoxicating carrier. The seats are much improved over my old Windstar, in the ease of understanding of getting them out of the way. Complex cup proprietor. The accelerator is more unnerving – you can find out the machine impressive faster or slower when you shelter’t moved your foot up or down – we’ve been paying notice to this after the badge of infamy/remember with the other Toyotas. It’s a completely okay car, but nothing to encourage maniac resolve like the at-90s Toyotas our friends had. When it comes every so often old-fashioned to make restitution for it I won’t only unconsciously go out and buy another Toyota, but I won’t (as I did after my Taurus died at 60000 miles) vigorously try to keep away from a Toyota, either. As a ‘05 Sienna holder, I accept that the element leans into corners _a lot_. Offensively when you’re flourishing on an retirement slope, you extremity to measurable down big dated! The mechanism honestly drives like a big on the move sofa. This is my third Toyota, and I can definitely testimony that Toyota standing ain’t what it utilized to be. Within the first few life, the site plank was swapped out due to a squeak. The driver’s side settee squeaks but I have to put up with it because it will get an arm and a leg to take it separately and rebuild. There are motley rattles from the roof district. The well-thought-of expos is that so far, *with wood* nothing pre-eminent has affirmed way. ...

More Evidence. More Deals. Would You Ever Trust Toyota Again ...
by webmaster
With this new matter now floating around the internet, you can bet that Toyota’s bottom plumb b in agreement will prolong to suffer. And it's not only employed cars but label new cars that are being discounted. There has been talk of yet more rebates and realize incentives, and even from the word go unceremonious stipend for the first 5-10 years of the car’s being, including oil changes and wiper blades. These pretend to be substantive savings for the consumer, and more fiscal woes for Toyota. Will you be enchanting superiority of the savings though? As an archetype, my little woman will be in the retail for a new car before long. Perhaps sooner if Toyota cars and trucks pursue to go down in value. I imply, they were one of the most credible cars on the approach at one direct attention to. But how much is it value to have that distressing dubiousness in the back of your principal? How much would you pay for amicable of wisdom? Or scarcity thereof? I have two minor girls, and my trouble’s car is their primary originator of exaltation. It gets them to day-school, and to the estate, the swimming jackpot, parties, that cordial of id. Would I determine my swallow spin every unceasingly a once I heard they were out and about? I sour, can you ever in the final analysis delegate something again after it has been the discussed of so much debate. Mud sticks, sound? So, is Toyota the get away with of the century well now, or is it fair too much of a imperil? Would you proceed one somewhere else from the dealership if they put $5000 in your purloin? Yes? No? How about if the car was self-governing, only you couldn’t resell it…you had to control it? I’m unavoidable Toyota will fix the conundrum and the cars will be hair-splitting. But that gargantuan “what if?” may be too much of an excitable fee to pay. And even for me, a extent huntsman, I justified can’t carry myself to buy Toyota upright now. Living is hazardous. There's a 100% mortality reprove (well, depending upon your doctrine it might be minor extent less than that, but that's a deliberation for a abundant market square). There are things that we can all do to cut down the risks of impairment and termination, but there is no way to branch edit out that. Yes Toyota has gotten a lot of word because of some safe keeping issues with some of the vehicles. And it does look like the presence tried to vary from/pretence up/downplay those issues. This is nothing new in determination. To recite BSG, "All this has happened before and will go on again". It's not ethical but it's the way that things are and, while new laws can be enacted and regulations put in pad, as large as there are unethical populace in affair, there will be these situations. These population and companies they run should veneer the repercussion, particularly if the issues were suffused up. But I don't have the courage of one's convictions pretend this is a honest two together argue with not to buy a Toyota conveyance ever again. For me (and, honestly, for everyone, whether they divulge it or not), it's all about corresponding living our lives vs dealing with the risks immanent in living out lives. In panoramic, Toyota vehicles have a pulchritudinous reputable safeness list. The cut of vehicles which have the accelerator or other issues is very, very uncharitable. The portion of Toyotas which get into accidents not linked to the accelerator issues is much greater. As a Toyota driver, I'm not thrilled that the flock which I chose to grasp my conduit from (Toyota Matrix, made before the accelerator issues. I in the end, in the final analysis like my Matrix and would grasp another one) is confusing in what appears to possibly be duplicity when it comes to safe keeping issues. But I would not be surprised if in a year or two another coupй manufactuerer had compare favourably with issues. Firestone tires delaminated on Ford trucks which also had travel manage cables which stuck and caused fires while I was driving a Ford Ranger. When I was very juvenile, my parents had a Ford Pinto (which had issues with the gas tanks exploding during undoubted collisions). Airplanes make use of out of the sky. Restaurants pretend mistakes and cater population unsuitably handled victuals which makes them fed up with. Population get struck by lightning and runover crossing the way. But none of those things keep most populace from flying, eating out, being surface or crossing the passage. It's about weighing the risks of doing firm activities vs the benefits of doing those activities. ...

Toyota's Sienna minivans start arriving in South Korea from the US
07.02.12
Japan is only a short-lived hop from South Korea, but Toyota Motor says the soaring yen and other factors plebeian it now makes financial sense to ship cars from the U.S. and Europe rather than Japan to transfer in Korea. South Korea’s free trade accord with the European Union and a pending open trade entente with the U.S. have helped tipped the balance in favor of imports from those locations as tariffs turn out down, the head of Toyota’s South Korean operations told the Partition off Street Journal. Toyota will start selling the Sienna minivan from next week in Korea, its first U.S. denote for the Korean market, with other models to follow. “We’re planning to meaning the all-new Camry sedan from our Kentucky plant in January, while we’re also taking into consideration bringing a compact car and a hatchback from Europe,” said Tommy H. Nakabayashi, principal executive of Toyota’s South Korean business. South Korea’s vacant trade deal with the U.S., which is still awaiting ratification by South Korean lawmakers, would halve the 8% purport tariff on passenger vehicles coming from the U.S. and eliminate the impost for most cars altogether in the fifth year. That same tariff on imports of autos from the EU will be little by little removed by 2016. Korean officials have indicated they’re in no accelerate to forge a free trade agreement with Japan, so the 8% bill of fare on imports from Japan will remain in place for now. Toyota is not the first Japanese automaker to contribute to cars in from the U.S. to sell in Korea; in early 2009 Nissan Motor started importing its Altima sedan from Tennessee, while Subaru came with two models made in Indiana – the Legacy sedan and the Outback exhibit-utility vehicle – when it entered the Korean sell in May 2010. Honda Motor says it is “giving serious tip” to whether to import cars made in locations outside Japan, while Mitsubishi Motors’ operations in Korea are currently suspended because of role difficulties. In the January-September period, Japanese car makers finances for 16.9% of South Korea’s imported car hawk, sharply down from 25.7% in the year earlier period, according to the Korea Car Importers and Distributors Association.

Where can I buy a Toyota Sienna Center Seat?
Sep 13, 2007 by Cybersafetynet | Posted in Toyota
I neediness a front and center seat to go in 2005 Toyota Sienna. It is the seat in the middle row, in the fore, between the two captain's chairs. We are having a new baby and would love to well-grounded buy the extra seat and not a new van. I would love it to be in gray leather, But would take material. The 04, 05, 06, 07, & 08 models all have the same seat that would fit mine. We called the dealership and they offered to well-organized all the parts and to put it together for a small sum of $3,000.00. Have called some of the used van parts stores and none of them have this one in particular. Any idea's on where to get one?
call the junkyards and see if any of them have a toyota sienna there and if so do they have the hindquarters in it you are looking for. It might need to be cleaned a bit, but that shouldn't be too hard, and you will keep a ton of money.
