I purchased the car from a toughened dealership, but it still has Factory Warranty. The engine light is on and was told by the dealership that I could take it to my neighbourhood Toyota Dealership to get serviced since it still had warranty, how does this work? ( its an 07 matrix)

I poverty to change the transmission fluid in my '05 Toyota Matrix. Is there a filter to substitute for too? Ok, so I unscrew the drain plug and drain the old fluid. When I replenish with new fluid, can I pour it into the tranny dipstick hole, or do I have to force it into the fill hole underneath the car? Thanks!
