i miss to buy a toyota avalon xls from a private seller and it has 114,000 miles leather up-country, sunroof power seats, its in great condition the leather has no rips the machine runs great. He wants $4,800 the car in kelly low-spirited book is worth a little more than 9 grand. is it worth it?
it is a 1998 toyota avalon xls
if register value shows 9k and the asking price is 4800....this is a no brainer......there is something off the target. I'll bet it's got a dirty carfax, and other issues. take it to a good body guy and mechanic if you settle on to go with it.

How do I get rid of inhibition engine light on a 1996 Toyota Avalon XLS myself (without spending $$), the beaming is there for a year, i showed it to a mechanic, he said its not a big deal. Now i m planning to tattle on this car and want to get rid of this the light (atleast for a month) before i show it to potential buyers.
inveterately if u unhook the positive battery cable this will clear any codes, but if there is a promblem it will moral come back on again

How do I reprogram a keyless entry remote for my '97 toyota avalon?

I have a keyless entr remote with a lock, unluck, and trunk button for my 1997 toyota avalon. I replaced the batteries but it still will not run. I assume I need to reprogram it. Does anyone know the exact steps?

In addidtion, the toyota manual is of no help. It doesnt register a sequence to reprogram it.
and I do not want to take it to a dealer.
