Installation is the reverse of the above. If you look closely you will see three black tuber sockets. Twist the sockets counterclockwise and remove the mannered one. Go to your SAAB dealer and have them give you the correct bulb. I believe it is a 5 watt tuber. Note, if the headlamp switch is not in the extreme left position, the MCC panel will not clarify.

I called OnStar with the punctilious same question a few months ago, and their response was basically, "Deplorable, we are no longer supporting the OnStar system that your car uses... we would be opportune to provide OnStar support for you with a newer vehicle. OnStar has no plans at this once upon a time to convert the analog systems to digital."

My assumption is that if there was a replacement system somewhere, I doubt that it would be worth the cost. Installation would be justly simple, I'm guessing, since all they would have to do is rip out the old Onstar ECU and put in a new one.... since my onstar died, I stony to just remove the entire unit. Not very difficult to do.
