Mini Cooper S Coupe. Koop. Sha-doop. Not perfectly a Touareg-level mockery of the English language, solid, but still not something that rolls off the tongue. But there’s more to the odd case of the Cooper Coupe than well-deserved the name. If you can’t readily tell, what we have here is a Cooper Hardtop with only two seats, a chopped-off windshield, a greenhouse shaped like a in reverse baseball hat, a pair of spoilers (one fixed), and not a whole excess of headroom. If you passion Minis for their faux-British charm, you’ll attraction the Coupe. If you hate them for how purposefully “styled” they are, you’ll in all likelihood have an aneurysm. Then get back in your Grand National and mumble about “cars these life.” 
It seems like Mini styled the Coupe to be cute. I’m not unshakeable if they’ve succeeded, but as I’m more of a Grand National than a Mini compassionate of guy, perhaps I’m not the one to ask. The slick bubble roof with jutting “hat-bill” spoiler is silken, but it’s just… plopped on top of a regular Mini corpse. A comparison to female anatomy in Silicon Valley wouldn’t be off application here, but I’m not the one to make it. Let’s just say the proportions are riveting. The low roof, super-raked windshield, and discourteous quarter windows make the doors and fenders seem larger, even though they’re as a matter of fact not. The rear 3/4 view is odd too; it seems like the body is twice the height of the back glass. It’s a chairwoman-turner, it’s just a matter of why the heads go around. 
But styling is entirely subjective. You’ll either like the Cooper Coupe, or mull over it’s funny looking. What’s the disagreement between the Coupe and the Hardtop? Well, from a practical standpoint, they’re both two entrance way hatchbacks – while the Hardtop has a short, upright hatch, the Coupe has a dream of, sloping fastback. The major change: there are no fag-end seats in the Coupe. This is either good or bad, depending on how you look at it. The Hardtop’s posterior seats are better as punishment than accommodations for a human, although folded downright they make a decent cargo area. The Coupe already has a totally large cargo area, and you don’t have to fold any seats down to get to it. You can literally carry large objects in the Coupe’s chest, which you can’t realistically do in the Hardtop with the seats up.

I be aware someone knows something about Mini Coopers. I am looking to buy one soon, but I just require to make sure I have all my facts straight first.
There are three portion types:
The basic hatchback version.
The convertible.
The Clubman, which is like a peewee wagon, with a third door (hinged at the back) on the right side, and dual doors rather than a brood, for the rear.
Each body type is available in the three stages of accord: Cooper, Cooper S and JCW.
In the USA, all Mini's are Mini Coopers (in the rest of the world there are non-Cooper Minis, including diesel engines).
The Cooper is the root Mini. Normal engine, without turbocharging.
The Cooper S adds a more powerful turbocharged mechanism (in current models, or supercharged in the previous generation cars), together with other differences with transmissions, suspension, trim, etc.
The JCW is a Cooper S on steroids, with more power, stiffer postponement, etc.

No. I would say 85% of buyers are manly.
But the soft top is.

2008 Honda Accord coupe Lx vs. 2009 Mini Cooper hardtop s?

what car would be change one's mind if the Honda Accord Lx is around $19,000 with 14k miles and the 2009 Cooper is $25,000 with 0 miles. i reflect on the interior of the cooper is much nicer than the honda but since bmw owns mini the maintenance would be valuable right? i also like the aux feature that i think comes exemplar with the cooper, does this also come standrd in the Honda? thanks
I force the Honda, BMW, Porsche and Mini lineup on a regular basis and wanted to dole out my thoughts with you.
First, the Honda Accord will have a much better resale value than the Mini. Mini's nurse to overheat due to their small engine bay which as time wears on causes the vigour-train to breakdown prematurely.
Second, the Mini Cooper is louder then the Honda Agreement and has an average stereo system. While some people enjoy hearing their engines, a nobility stereo helps fight boredom on long trips to employment.
Finally and MOST IMPORTANT! The Mini S needs 92 octane to accomplish at its peak. Expect to pay at least $.30 at the pump per gallon than the Honda possessor. In these hard economic times saving a dime is more noteworthy than the S logo!
