2011 Jeep Liberty: A compact SUV that will go anywhere

 The Jeep Liberty, sincerely to Jeep’s legendary off-road heritage, is a practical SUV that doesn’t boggle at when leaving the blacktop. It comes with a choice of two Jeep Trail Rated four-circle-drive systems that offer strong off-road boldness. Reminiscent of the rugged ’90s-era Jeep Cherokee, it’s unbelievable and angular, maintaining its bold, upright styling. However, atypical the old Cherokee, while the Liberty maintains the ruggedness that made Jeep famous, it also delivers a even, relatively quiet ride.
Model Lineup: The Jeep Liberty comes in three crop levels. The Sport 2WD, Sport 4WD, Limited, and Limited 4WD. All are within reach in two — or four-wheel drive versions. The Renegade is nearby only with four-wheel drive. The only engine is a 210-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, mated to a 4-forward automatic transmission. Safety features on all Liberty models encompass dual front airbags, head-protecting side-curtain airbags with rollover sensors, front side airbags and nimble front-seat head restraints. Active safety features encompass anti-lock brakes with brake assist, mound start assist, traction control, and electronic lasting quality control with rollover mitigation. The antilock brakes have brutal road detection — when rough conditions are detected, the system holds the curb pulses longer to better slow the vehicle. Small hill descent control is standard on 4x4 models. Optional aegis features include trailer sway control and cultivate obstacle detection. The Liberty Renegade includes veer plates for the transmission, transfer case, front suspension, and apparatus; transmission oil cooler; tow hooks; and fender flares. It is outfitted for more rude off-roading with options similar to those on the Sport. Walkaround: The Liberty is undeniably a Jeep. Intended to lure an even split of male and female buyers, its aforementioned 90’s era Cherokee styling also hysteria with the current Jeep design ideal. Jeep’s iconic seven-depression grille is the most noticeable aspect of the front end. The grille is body highlighted on the Sport and chrome on the Limited. The front fascia is body go red in the face on all, with a removable front air dam offering more off-road ground room. The side view of the Liberty showcases tall windows in a squared off hut. Chrome is limited to side trim and roof rails — which are baleful on the Sport. i have a jeep liberty and i craving to cover over the seats or replace them, i want to know where in brooklyn i can get that done, and i desire to change the steering wheel where can i find some nice ones. thanks

How many more miles should my Jeep Liberty be worth?

I bought a Jeep liberty 2003. 4WD. I have 114,000 mi on it. I excursion to work 55 mi round trip every day on a state road. I change the oil every 3000 mi. I have had it serviced pretty regularly. It runs well. Are these believable vehicles. My daughters new husband told her it was rated low on the Consumer communiqu. How many miles can I expect to get out of it? Should I be planning on getting a new vehicle in the next 24 mo?
If it's bewitched care of well it can last several more yrs and well over 250,000 miles, what I might be thinking of is the timing and having it checked possibly done soon on it.Also I'd be wondering when was the last time the transmission fluid and membrane strain was changed using the proper recommended factory fluids and kits.Keep in memory that certain chemical additives are in the transmission fluids on those vehicles and they can don down causing lots of shifting or bucking or stuttering or kicking or odd shifting problems so it's another documentation reason to have the transmission fluid and filter changed I'd say every 60 to 75,000 miles or every 3 to 5 years depending on how much you refer to the vehicle and in your case it not be a bad idea to change them if it's not been done yet.One extra bit of info if you've not had the charging system over hauled yet or predominantly if your vehicle has been subject to extreme weather or temperatures I'd be infallible to get it done.
One major problem vehicles have is that their sometimes not well maintained and they can't maintain themselves but it sounds like you keep on top of it and that means your Jeep will out last most ppl's vehicles.
Expectancy that helps and best of luck.By the way I recommend changing the gas dribble on a yrly basis , plus make sure when you get the oil tainted that they lube the front end and doors etc on it too,also treat the gas periodically with something like a Lucas gas treatment etc,it's not a bad doctrine bec it's a 2003 to clean the ignition module spark-mention wire connections one by one with a file and wire brush, do the same reaction to the fuse box , power junctions , battery , alternator , starter , appliance block ground posts and all the grounds that you can find.
One last note observation your gages especially the temperature gages so you can tell once it's wheezles started where the gage sits , then once it's a warm idling temperature how right and where the gage sits , plus it's been driven a few hrs where does the temperature sit at and once it's encouraged several hrs. One of the best ways of doing this is starting with a engine that is well tuned , polish gas system , good exhaust systems and a proper coolant mixtures and coolant that is cleanse and of good quality , plus having the coolant tested periodically and watching the point of the coolant system , plus making sure that all other fluids are special-occasion and the proper levels, also making sure that a full 4 wheel alignment is performed once a year, making stable that the tires are good and their air pressure are correct , along with properly on the edge.
I highly recommended doing things like this so it's helps you not only liberate money but especially in getting to know your vehicles you keenness and also I recommend watching your gage's to know your vehicle well-advised b wealthier and to notice or spot problems faster.

I am looking to get out of an Decamp and get a Jeep Liberty-because their towing capacity is far greater. Just wondering if Liberty owners's lift their vehicle.
I have the 2006 Jeep Liberty Recreation and LOVE it! I like its overall size and the amount of head apartment! It is very sporty but still very practical. And you have to look at the atlantic blue redden--it's beautiful!
I drive approx. 30 miles roundtrip to travail and I get gas every week and a half. Compared to my last car (Jeep Grand Cherokee), it is a ungenerous better.
