Wondering what is a resonable price on a 2004 Jeep grand cherokee and if they are good vehicles??

I am assessment about buying a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee it is a special edition 4WD, it has 46,000 miles on it, 6go round and round, 4.0L engine, has everything leather seats, sunroof passionate seats. Was Just wondering on more opionions on Jeep Cherokee and if this seems like a resonable appraisal before really considering it. My mother has a 1987 Jeep Cherokee and it has over 200,000 miles on it runs significant, but that can just be a lucky one out of the bunch. Please tell me what you think it will succour me out alot Thank You!!!

You didn't divulge the asking price. I'm sure you've checked the blue words. As for the vehicle, it's the best damn vehicle I ever bought. It's got the 4.0L unalloyed six. That engine has been around for over 50 years (carburated in the old days). It's in point of fact the same as the old Chevy six.
As for performance, if my front tires touched it before my bumper, that car would way up it. I chased elk thru the Rockies with my Wagoneer.
BTW, I still have my '89 Wagoneer. It's scourge up, but it runs like new. It's got over 300,000 miles and I'd still drive it to the west seashore (I have several times) from N Y.
Buy it and enjoy. And don't be afraid to do the back woods.

2001 Grand Jeep Cherokee has clicking sound near inside fuse box without trying to start it.?

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee that periodically will click when the car is turned off and the keys are NOT in the ignition. The clicking occurs even then whe front entrance is closed and when overhead pilot light is turned on it flashes with the clikcing bluster. When you put the key in the clicks slow down and when you tyurn it over they stop - then the clicking comes silhouette the engine area. It is a constant clicking sound which when occurs the car is not functional - but only occurs occasionally. Recently it has been more and more frequent. Anyone else expereince this? If so what did you do? Hands!!

sounds like a relay effective. it obviously controlls something, try isolating it and unplugging it to se what then doen't occupation, or check with a wiring diagram to see what it controlls

I dont have the owners instructions to the used 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee that i just purchased. One thing im having a mess with is trying to figure out how to turn on the factory fog lamps which are to be found below the front bumper. Ive tried the stem for the head lamps on the steeing wheel in every arrange i can think of and no luck yet....Pleeeze help
While I am not buddy-buddy with the dashboard controls of the Jeep, I CAN tell you how to get an owners manual.
The right news is:
Jeep has an owner resource website from which you can download Emancipated owners manuals
The bad news is:
The FREE ones only go back to the 2004 dummy year.
BUT, you can order older model year (1995-2003) books from the same purlieus.
If i were you, I would order the 2002 manuals (you will probably want/sine qua non it anyway, right?) but I would also take advantage of the free download ....
I am sure that the spot/operation of the fog-lamp switch didn't change much between '02 and '04 ...so download the '04 vade-mecum . That will get you the info you need quickly.
