Renault plans to extend from its current 53 dealerships to 80 by the end of the year and reach 115 in 2012.

The directorship said the carmaker will focus more on smaller cities where Renault now has a dealership latitude of just 19 percent.

Chen declined to name which models will be produced locally, but observers say the roster is likely to include the Koleos SUV, the biggest seller for Renault in 2010.
