José Muñoz, president and general director of Infiniti, greeted guests with inspiring words and explained why the type has arrived to Mexico. Infiniti's message: "All or Nothing." Socialites, celebrities and distinguished business people came to see the cars at the introduction, capped off with a conduct by Magos Herrera, a leading jazz voice on the Mexican stylish scene. Inspired by key attributes of the Infiniti brand — Inspired Carrying-on, Brave, Human Touch — Mexican maker Michel Rojkind created five exclusive structures to betray each of the Infiniti models. Does this car conduit out gass like crazy like you have to buy gass circadian or less?
Like the 1st flier said, pretty much all Infiniti's get below average gas mileage. The QX56 4WD prototype is abysmal, with EPA of 12/17 and average of 14mpg. Considering large SUV/social relations sales are down over 30% this year, its likely that Infiniti just may decline this vehicle from its lineup within the year. The FX45 AWD actually is just as greedy on gas with EPA 13/17 and average of 14mpg, the FX35 AWD does a bit better with 15/20 and as a rule of 17mpg. Check http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/sbs.htm for all your fuel economy, befouling and carbon info on automobiles. Once the new EPA guidelines for fuel thriftiness go into place in a few years, Infiniti will have to downsize the engines in all their vehicles to foregather the new standards of mandated fuel economy. BTW, the QX56 has a 28 gallon tank, so you only fill up once per week...but that fill up is over $100!!!

im 16 and my mom is compliant to give me her 2004 infiniti....are they good to drive?
the good preoccupation about them is that you can buy rims for them and they look great with them and if anybody can find rims for them please show them to me......its silverware car
What a high-minded mom! Thank her for such a great car! My first car cost $25 dollars and the motor was charmed apart in the trunk. Please drive very carefully!

does anyone have any opionions on the new 2007 or 2008 Infiniti QX56; would this be a safe purchase?
I would not urge it, as CR cites the car as being extremely unreliable, which I find unacceptable for a $50,000+ pleasure SUV.
However, owner satisfaction seems to be rather high. My neighbor has one and seems to be extremely satisfied.
When I drove one as a loaner car while I had my Infiniti serviced, I did not like it, because it was honest way too big. The third row wasn't too bad though, and the second row captain's chairs were very comfortable. The pattern back up camera is very helpful, given the height of the car.
