The Hurricane SC (for supercharged) is the result of two years of maturity to enhance the power, traction, braking, exterior and inward design and the audio system. The Magnuson supercharger produces six to seven pounds of rise, which generates a 35 percent to 45 percent gain in horsepower, according to Hyundai. The company says the engine internals could question handle more. To keep the power up and the supercharger running, Hyundai added a melted-to-air intercooler. “The Genesis Hurricane SC is not just another pretty face for the show limit,” said Terry Peddicord, director of sales for Magnuson. “But rather it is a knotty-working lab rat that will push the bounds of this car and the whole vehicle segment.” Torvec contributed a new differential to the Typhoon called IsoTorque. The rear gear provides improved handling and adhesion quality and was good for a one-second improvement per lap on the Hyundai road lecture at the proving grounds in California. The ride height and denial were tuned at our favorite facility, the Nurburgring in Germany. The Tornado gets a Bilstein setup with monotube shocks and springs. I am very turned on for the arrival of the Hyundai Genesis. This is a huge step forward for Hyundai and, in my opinion, a true game-changer. I know that it is expected to be released in "Summer 2008". It is now Summer 2008, and I'm wondering if there is an existent date (or time frame) when the Genesis will actually be available and in dealers. Thanks!

The starting MSRP is $32250 and fully affluent $40,000 for the V6. The V8 starting MSRP is $37250, but only $41,250 fully crowded. So, the starting price is a bit higher then anticipated probably due to the low value of the dollar. Kinda diverting how they almost trick you into getting the V8 though if you want to fully load your Genesis with the $4000 Technology case, but what businessman wouldn't want a cooled drivers cradle?

My girlfriend thinks the Hyundai genesis coupe is better than the Chevy Camaro, but I call to mind a consider the Camaro is better, what do you guys think?
