This week I get a drop of another renamed Ford: the Taurus X, formerly known as the Freestyle. To be pleasingly, the Freestyle was not a carrier that short very many sales records. Ford unmistakable they would rap that wonderful Taurus name on the back of the Freestyle and add an “X,” because evidently this is a crossover, and voila! New carrier! Indubitably, some other changes took uncomfortable besides that one made to the switch on the tailgate. The drivetrain is the same one hand-me-down in the Ford Lead, pairing a wonderful Duratec 3.5L V6 motor producing 263hp and 249lb/ft of torque, with a six-step on it self-acting sending. The Freestyle was set with a 3.0L V6 apparatus producing only 203hp and coupled to a CVT (continuously uncertain telecasting) which didn’t waken much furor. One would over being named the Taurus “X” this mechanism would be pattern all-pivot oblige, but one would be mistaken on that termination. How can I turn off the interior light in a Ford Taurus X?

I rented a Ford Taurus X this morning, but there's no proprietor's manual come with the car.
Now the two Map lights up on the first row seat can't be turned off. The effort lights on the second and third passenger seats keeps lighting.
They will be turned off when I adieu to the car. But when I was in the car, there's no way to manually turn them off!!
If anyone has a manual or knows the car, please help. Blame you!
There is a "Panel Dimmer" dial to the make up for of the "headlamp control" knob. Dial it down a short to turn off the interior lights.

Since you are only renting the conduit, (i presume short-term) you probably don't have a need for the absolute digital owners manual....but I'll give you the link to download it anyway... you may have another Q...who knows?

How good of a crossover is the 2008-09 Ford Taurus X?

I would like to get rid of my gas-guzzling 2005 Bob Durango SLT (4.7L V8), and am considering the Taurus X. I realize that Ford is customary to discontinue them after 2009, but they look classy to me, and, in my opinion, they look cured than the new Flex.
It's a humiliation that they're discontinuing them, they're really nice cars, the main tough nut to crack is a lack of marketing. Simply put, most people don't even know they continue (and the name Taurus X isn't exactly the best name they could've chosen). Overall they're pretty adequate cars, the Duratec V6 in it is known to be very reliable, they have a comfortable heckle, and they have very nice styling. Hope you get one, another sale for a good American car friends.
