Ford F-150 accelerated into tree against driver's will, suit claims

A driver blames Ford Motor Pty for manufacturing a vehicle that the driver says accelerated into a tree against his will.
Brian D. Williams filed a lawsuit Nov. 1 in Madison County Ambit Court against Ford Motor Company.
In his complaint, Williams alleges he drove a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup commodities on Lake Road in Jersey County on Feb. 4, 2005, when he attempted to toady up to a turn.
Suddenly, "the vehicle accelerated without Plaintiff's foot being on the accelerator causing him to hit a tree," the entreaty states.
The incident occurred because the accelerator remained in the out of sync a go astray position, the suit claims.
Because of the incident, Williams became irritated sick and tired, sore, lame and disordered and lost his earning condition, according to the complaint. In addition, he experienced pain and torture, sustained disability and disfigurement and lost wages, the make appropriate states.
Williams blames Ford for causing his injuries, saying the house negligently manufactured an unreasonably dangerous vehicle with a retarded shift gear.
In his complaint, Williams is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, return costs.

this will depend on how you impel it drive it with some sense you will get 10 to 12 around town and 14 perhaps on the road its heavy and big its not a tundra but they dont get much more either

I am looking at trading in my car for a 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4WD. I was wondering if anyone had any major problems with this goods and if so what were they and how did Ford handle the situation. The most informative answer gets 10 pts.
I am not looking for any Ford sucks, Buy Chevy, or anything like that.
It has a 5.4L Trition motor.
ford sucks......only kidding.I am a a.s.e mastertech certified and also a smog technician here in california,if buying a ford i always recomendd a odds instead of a car since they seem to have a better performance,2004 ford,what engine you have 6 or 8,there is piles of good things as bad like all vehicles sometime too many to name......how about getting a gifted diagnostic(compression testing,the most important i'll say)and perhaps a smog selection,that will give you a good idea....all vehicles are different as uncanny as that sounds,since the driving and maintenance has a lot to do with it,but most important,try not to fall with the instrument before making sure everything is in order,otherwise you will have a very biased decision...yard goods luck in your purchase!

Thats no power windows or front entrance locks but it has leather and is in PERFECT condition,,,,, Seats 6 passengers..
