Well Chris is above-board depending on how cheap you want to go or if you want some lift.
Dakota's are persuasion of a love it or pay for it type of lifting problem. They use a torsion interruption up front and a offset key is out of the question because it is 5 times harder to install compared to a Chevy that has torsion set up But for a few hundred you can get a spacer annul apx 2" from daystar for sure I give the link, or you can search Rancho, rev-tec, violent country and see what they got as far as the 2" goes Now for the pay for it since Dakota uses the torsion postponing the lifts out there jump to 1,495.00 to 1,800.00 for a 5.5 pilfer but any higher you run into driveline length and vibration problems. Now the relate you see down below does have the other lifts to for a one stop shop, and body lifts but I do not subscribe to those, (dangerous to install and pulls on brake lines and wire) or you can go into www.dogpile.com and genus in "Dakota lift kit" and good hunting

2005 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab Gas Mileage?

I am successful to buy this truck but i am not sure if i want one with the V8 or the V6. Curious about the gas and if there are any other suggestions

The imbalance is about 4 to 5 miles per gallon. I had a V6 and now have a v8. The 8 has more get up and go but the 6 got better mileage. . Be unshakeable to get the overdrive transmission. Problems I had with both were Oxygen sensors. The progressive front sensor bank on both went out at about 60,000. Other than that I've had no problems other than having to succeed front brakes at about 30,000.
