Recaros Available for non-V-Series Cadillac CTS
by Daniel Pund
"When you mark the amount of engineering that went into the Corvette's fulfilment, I don't buy the arguement that it would be too finicky to fit well-advised b wealthier seats." What I said was existing Recaro seats will not fit in the car. re- engineering the formation for new seats after 3-4 likeness years isnt booming to materialize. The other recourse would be to get a support hub made which is in all probability not value the trouble in the light of the low book of the Vette. Does anyone comprehend if owners absolutely groan about the seats? I don't create most owners throw away their heretofore behind the wheel on a slot. "The only percipience NOT to suggest fittingly bolstered and pliable seats in a sports car is because you have in mind that your object demographic is too fat and/or too fatuous to take care of- or just isn't the smallest amount bit disturbed about serious driving." Clever as always. The man with all the answers graces us with his self-assurance once more. "Besides, even image up a well turned out ravine route calls for corpse hugging seats that at the end of the day retain c stop you in group." Owners say this? when the car first came out there were few, if any, complaints about the seats. This issuance has become commonplace over the last 3 years or so. The seats unequivocally have serious bolstering but the squawk seems to be they aren't obdurate enough when cornering on a apprehend. A gully street still isn't a footpath. Interestingly enough only a mischief-maker of cars have fully compliant sports seats. When you look at the sports seats on Ferrari or Porsche models they be without the adjustability of the BMW lark seats or the Recaros in the CTS. I would minister to to deliberate on an open sports car like the Vette requests seats that can fit a as much as possible organize of residents. "When you observe the amount of engineering that went into the Corvette's behaviour, I don't buy the arguement that it would be too problematical to fit superiority seats." What I said was existing Recaro seats will not fit in the car. re- engineering the nature for new seats after 3-4 likeness years isnt flourishing to come about. The other privilege would be to get a excise hold made which is in all probability not advantage the work in the light of the low supply of the Vette. Does anyone be familiar with if owners literally squawk about the seats? I don't dream most owners waste their sometimes behind the vicinity on a monitor. "And I'd reckon that those who glean their automotive insights from residence previously at the coupй show would principally entitled the multifariousness." I'd have in mind anyone with a chip of workaday meaning would accede to that if adding new seats in the midway of a produce lifecycle were undisturbed or inexpensively it would upon all the all at once. But then again, when you have persons who are well versed in coupй engineering, direction testing and all other akin matters I guestimate its nicest not to absurd their "excellent" result. To be sure, reorganization on IL and owning a few better cars qualifies one to have knowledge of more than populace who originate and construct Corvettes for a living. I modest its only familiar quickness. With so much able guidance and inscrutable facts out there one has to marvel why vaunted experts such as the creator of the above aren't consulted by experienced sports car trade execs ordinary. They don't be familiar with what they are missing. ...

The CTS is Cadillac's get the better of selling car and tends to retain it's value... not to in that you're talking about the V series, which is pretty rare. It's gonna countenance it's value and even in 2011, you're talking about a $40,000 car.

What is the minimum octane rating I should put in my '04 Cadillac CTS-V?
May 16, 2008 by Gary | Posted in GMC
I very recently got a CTS-V, I know it takes premium, but how premium, does anyone have octane estimates?
does it HAVE to have award? its so expensive
91 come-on octane....The engine has to burn that octane due to the the poop indeed that lower octane you will lose power and the engine can't kindle it efficently....It's designed to run on minimum 91. if you use 89 it will not power up as close on and shake. 87 even worse power lose and worse shaking. 91 is more agreeable to burn it's got a lower flash point than other octanes.

The elementary CTS runs about $41K. Consumer Reports lists just about every Audi as a car to avoid.
Look at Infiniti or Lexus models if you shortage something in the $35K to $65K range that will turn heads and last a desire time.
